Finally…

Spring break is here! And has been for about five days now! Holy crap!
I’m spending some of it down here in sunny (notice the ever annoying absence of warmth) Cache Creek. I drove a standard, learned a sweet rock ‘n roll song, (Summer Of 69) and did a bunch of other stuff. And ate twice my weight in food. And the best part was, most of this was without my parents and sister! FREEDOOOM!!!!!1! Anyway…
I got assigned homework for the break. How lame is that? What kind of teacher in their right mind would restrict a students downtime with the menial labor of homework? Not to worry, however, I have responsibly spent my time with Final Fantasy, Assassin’s Creed HOMEWORK!
Anyway…
Paint. (Ball)
by Ben on Mar.08, 2009, under General
Well, I had my first paintball experience yesterday. Dad, Chad and I all went out to an old abandoned sawmill and played with a couple other people. It was lots of fun, as we were in a big area with lots of places to hide. I got hit numerous times, but it didn’t hurt as much as I expected it to. I had a great time, and really want to go again, despite me totally sucking at it.
Call Of Duty 5: World At War

The Call Of Duty game have always been exceptionally stellar, and (in my opinion) 5 is no different. You take the role of two main characters, the American Private Miller, and the Russian Private Petranko. The story follows the course of the war in the Pacific and Eastern theaters. In the Pacific, Private Miller and his buddies go through the Pelilu and Okinawa campaigns, fighting the stubborn Japanese all the way. On the Eastern Front, Private Petranko, along with his comerades Sgt. Rezonv and Pvt. Chernov and many others, fight their way into the heart of Germany, obsessed with the downfall of the
Third Reich.
The gameplay is exceptionally intense, even for a Call Of Duty game. The Japanese will constantly throw Banzai charges at you, forcing you into close combat. Call Of Duty 5 is exceptionally graphic, as limbs can be blown off in a somewhat disturbing, albeit spectacular, spray of blood and meat. Ewwwww.
The game sports amazing graphics, and very few glitches. You will need a powerful machine to run this game, but it is also available for the XBOX 360, PS3, Wii, DS, and PSP.
Overall, Call Of Duty 5: World At War is a great game, that is lots of fun to play.
Happy Belated Everything…

Yes, I finally got my lazy butt around to posting. Not much is happening with my life as of late, besides the usual. You know, sledding down ravines, cooking six course feasts for a bunch of teachers, etc.
Well, I had a great christmas and New Years, in case you infidels were wondering.
I Love to Sing…..
by Ben on Dec.06, 2008, under General
Okay, don’t get me wrong. I love musicals, and the Caledonia Musical was no exception. This year it was How to Succed In Buisness Without Really Trying. It’s a really great show about a young man’s rise in the buisness world, surrounded by romance, politcs, and 1940’s fashion. The downside however, was that the play was around three hours long. Bleh. I, however enjoyed myself. My parents felt like crap. But we all had fun!
How to Survive at a High School Dance
by Ben on Dec.02, 2008, under General
So, I attended my first high school dance last thursday. It was a hot, sweaty, loud and completly awesome experience.
I decided to compile a list of things I learned:                                                                                    The best place to dance is right in front of the speakers                                                                  If someone starts to dance with you, don’t ignore them just because they are a stranger                                If a short little grade 8 tries to grind with you, ignore her.                                                                    NEVER EVER go to the center of the mosh area. You will die.
I hope this is useful to you party-goers out there.

Long Weekends Are Go!

Well, here I am, on the computer early on a saturday morning, enjoying the somewhat faster internet and listening to my family laugh about something that I have absouluetly no comprehension of…Anway, We got friday off school, I got a hair cut, (good bye chances of having an emo-cut this year) and ate a delicously filling breakfast at Denny’s. Yeah, we were pretty hungry. So, I away to read MegaTokyo and eat some breakfast!
Cheers!

Sorry for the long time between posts. There was some….Uh…..Username technical difficulties. Heh. Well, I bought myself a Nintendo DS Lite on Sunday. For those of you who have spent their lives locked in a breadbox, the DS is a handheld gaming system released by Nintendo some years back (like, five or something) with two screens. The top one is just a regular screen, but the bottom one is *gasp* touch sensitive! Anyway, it’s a lot of fun. I paid about $135.00 with tax for it, and spent another 30 on a game. (Final Fantasy IV) YAY!
Well, here I am again…
by Ben on Aug.02, 2008, under General
Yup, in sunny (but not-so-sunny right now) Cache Crik (actually Creek) BC. The whole family is up to visit friends, family, and all the other flotsam of the big city. (At least when we are in “The Big City” by which I mean Vancouver and Kelowna. We had an uneventful drive (twelve hours is a pretty long time to be uneventful) up here, and now, I sit in the peace and tranquility of my grandparent’s living room, listening to my family talk about things of which I am completely and totally clueless about. (XKCD, to those of you who are wondering) Well, I’ma go catch up on MegaTokyo now, so bye.
